SLPs are “master differentiators,” it is an integral part of our everyday, all day work with students. Discover how to turn Bloom’s Taxonomy into a systematic and concrete differentiation machine! Leave with a structure from which to create instructionally based differentiation opportunities for your students versus the typical time and quantity modifications that are on most IEPs. Using Bloom’s as a goal and objective writing template will also be explored.

3. Name links to classroom expectations and success  
4. Name digital tools and resources

About Sarah: Sarah James is an accomplished speech-language pathologist, seminar leader, keynote speaker and consultant. She has worked extensively in several public-school systems and has a wide-range of experience in helping SLPs to connect communication skills with classroom expectations, curriculum targets and state standards.

Sarah is the author of the book Current Best Strategies to Help SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS Accelerate Therapy Progress and Academic Success. Also, she was the president of the Minnesota State Speech-Language-Hearing Association, where she received the coveted Honors Award of the Association.

In addition to implementing direct speech, language, and literacy instruction, she continues to travel and provide numerous well-received speech and language seminars through the Bureau of Education & Research, as well as privately. 15 minutes: introduction and definitions of differentiation and FAPE
15 minutes: overview of Bloom's Taxonomy research and related online resources

15 minutes: expanding the definition of each of the components in Bloom's Taxonomy
15 minutes: using a template to adapt existing lesson plans and write goals/objectives
15 minutes: review and additional online resources
