Objective

About Cheris: Cheris Frailey, MA, CCC-SLP is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience working in hospitals, private practice, skilled nursing and education settings. She currently is the Interstate Compact and Legal Affairs Coordinator for the Department of Regulatory Agencies for the State of Colorado. She previously worked at ASHA as the Director of State Education and Legislative Advocacy serving as the state liaison to the southern region by providing resources, assistance and support regarding legislative and regulatory issues in addition to guidance to state association leaders, members and government agencies. She has received extensive training in facilitation, conflict management and mediation. She currently serves as a volunteer mediator for the City of Littleton and Jefferson County in Colorado.

About Michelle: Michelle Dawson, MS, CCC-SLP is an accomplished lecturer and PEDs Therapist, she has written and given numerous ASHA approved CEU lectures on such topics as Infantile Spasm and Oropharyngeal Dysphagia, along with Apps and ST, and co-authored a course on Best Practices in EI.  She has also given an AOTA-approved lecture on Sensory Integration from the SLP perspective.  Michelle has delivered lectures at the SCSHA Convention and twice with the SCATP Expo.
