In this podcourse, Nicole Allison shares strategies that SLPs can use when targeting phonological awareness in therapy. With a focus on practical implementation, SLPs will walk away with a variety of tools to easily assess, write goals, and develop treatment activities for students with phonological awareness goals.

By the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify three strategies to use when writing phonological awareness goals.
  2. Identify three strategies to strategically select progress monitoring assessments.
  3. Describe three therapy activities that can be used when targeting phonological awareness goals.
About Nicole: Nicole Allison is a speech-language pathologist who currently works with preschool through high school students. She holds an MA and has presented at local, state, and national conventions on topics related to speech and language pathology. She loves creating engaging resources for students and saving busy SLPs time with regard to integrating skill sets. Nicole is the author of the blog Speech Peeps where she shares activities and ideas. She lives in Ohio with her husband and three little ones.

About Marisha: Marisha earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington. She has worked as a school-based SLP and shares therapy ideas and resources on her blog (SLP Now). Marisha also developed a membership for SLPs that includes digital tools and resources to streamline evidence-based therapy.
