In this podcourse, Kayla shares how she set up an alternative service delivery models for articulation. With a focus on facilitating more meaningful outcomes for students and streamlining the therapy planning process, SLPs will walk away with practical tips and strategies to "work smarter" when creating treatment plans for students with articulation goals.

By the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify at least two service delivery options for articulation therapy.
  2. Identify three strategies to communicate with administrators, teachers, and parents when presenting a new service delivery model.
  3. Describe three treatment activities when implementing shorter articulation sessions.
About Marisha: Marisha earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington. She has worked as a school-based SLP and shares therapy ideas and resources on her blog (SLP Now). Marisha also developed a membership for SLPs that includes digital tools and resources to streamline evidence-based therapy.

About Kayla: Kayla Redden is a school-based speech-language pathologist, currently working her 6th year in a rural preschool and elementary setting. She serves as the secretary of the Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has participated in KSHA's iKAN advocacy network, where she learned how to advocate for herself, her students, and other SLPs. She creates materials for elementary-aged students on her Teachers Pay Teachers store (Kayla SLP) and blogs about therapy tips (kaylaslp.com).
