Amber B. Heape, ClinScD, CCC-SLP

Dr. Amber Heape is a clinical specialist for a large healthcare company, where she works with OT, PT, and
ST staff within rehab departments to improve documentation and provision of clinical services to maximize patient outcomes. She holds a Doctor of Clinical Science degree, is an adjunct professor, and teaches live, webinar, and interactive continuing education courses on the national and international circuits. Amber is a former president of the SC Speech-Language Hearing Association and is the ASHA’s State Advocate for Medicare Policy (STAMP) representative for SC. Amber’s clinical passion is serving the aging population, and making a difference in their quality of life. She is a Certified Dementia Professional and volunteers with organizations that promote and preserve quality care in the elderly.
