Char Boshart, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist, author, seminar presenter, and president and co-founder of Speech Dynamics, Inc. She graduated with her Master’s degree from Western Michigan University under the extraordinary tutelage of Dr. Charles Van Riper, the “father” of articulation therapy during the final years of his illustrious career. Char began her career in the public schools in the early 70’s with a caseload of over 110 children. Since then, she has worked many years in the public schools, developed and ran her own private practice, and, for seven years was an Assistant Professor and Department Chair of the Speech Pathology and Audiology Department at Loma Linda University in southern California. Her interest in creating effective therapy techniques has evolved into the development of several practical articulation publications, videos (articulation and language), and articles.

Cheri Dodge Chin is an Assistive Technology consultant, adjunct professor, and published researcher. Prior to her position in assistive technology, she worked for 20 years as a speech-language pathologist in pediatric private practice, rehabilitation, clinics, and schools. Dr.Dodge has a clinical doctorate in speech pathology and is currently studying for her doctor of education degree with a focus on AAC.Dr. Dodge is a pioneer in the world of SLP blogs and social media. She was one of the first SLP bloggers and her blog, Super Power Speech, contains over 700 posts. Dr. Dodge’s goal is to help SLPs create organizational systems (she is an organization queen!), develop communication-affirming IEPs, and support AAC users. She has created over 300 resources to support goals in AAC, language, articulation, and social skills.As a formerly competitive debater, she loves public speaking on fun topics such as AAC, literacy,language, and SLP organization strategies. She has presented on various topics at the local, state,and national levels.Dr. Dodge is the proud mama of two teens and two puppies. She and her husband live in beautiful Portland, Oregon.
